Cancer Trials Made Clear is an independent information service operated by Brendon Coster. It helps people find public research records and prepare questions for their care team.
What this service does
We search ClinicalTrials.gov and ISRCTN and display selected fields from their records. We also link to other research information. We do not provide medical consultations, recommend treatments, decide whether you qualify for a trial or arrange participation.
Check information before acting
Study teams supply the registry information. Records can be incomplete, outdated or inconsistent, and our searches do not cover every trial. A recruiting label does not confirm an available place at a particular hospital. Check the original record and ask the trial team about current availability.
Our explanatory wording is awaiting independent clinical review. Discuss treatment decisions with your treating team. Do not change or delay care because of something you read here. This website is not an emergency service.
Original sources and saved copies
Each result links to its original record. Displayed fields may be shortened or reformatted, and duplicate records may be combined. Source credits and applicable licences appear on trial cards and printed shortlists. Third-party material remains subject to its own rights and terms.
Your saved shortlist is a snapshot. Refresh saved records or check their original sources before using them. Printed, downloaded and shared copies can become outdated and are outside this website’s control. Sharing a shortlist may reveal a health interest.
Use the service considerately
Do not enter names, contact details or private medical documents into the search. Do not misuse registry contact details, interfere with the service, or present this website as a medical provider or as endorsed by a named registry or charity.
External websites
Links take you to independently operated websites with their own information, privacy practices and terms. Naming or linking an organisation does not imply endorsement or partnership.
Your rights
These explanations describe the service and its limitations. They do not exclude or restrict liability where that would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. They do not remove any statutory rights you may have.
Changes
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Use the source links to check current trial information.
